Dr Egena Ode is a Lecturer in Enterprise Practice at the Centre for Enterprise, Manchester Metropolitan University and a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. He holds a PhD in Business and Management from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship from Newcastle University.

His research spans co-creation and innovation, SME productivity, and organisational resilience. Prior to his current role, Dr Ode served as a Research Fellow at the University of Huddersfield, focusing on the impact of board diversity, plasticity, and access to finance on SME productivity in the West Yorkshire region.

He has also held academic and professional positions at Benue State University, Nigeria and the American University of Nigeria.
